 | 11:15 am - Change server for XJournal? Any chance to get the option to change login server in XJournal? I'm using alternatvie site based on LiveJournal, and would like to use XJ. Any ideas? I know there are other clients that can change servers, but i need XJ because of the history option.

 | 11:17 am - Dreamwidth Hey, is there any plan to allow posting from Xjournal to Dreamwidth? Because I, for one, really miss having Xjournal when I post over there.

 | 06:25 pm - posting regular entries after having post-dated entries Hi, I have several post-dated entries for lists and such, and every time I post through X-Journal, I am forced to used the backdated option or the entry will not post. However, if I do that, the entry will not show up on my friends' friends lists. I can fix it in LiveJournal, but there is not really a point in using a client if I have to redo it. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks.

 | 03:39 pm - Crashing in 10.3.9 Hi - I am rebuilding after a hard drive crash and downloaded the newest version of Xjournal as the version I was using was lost - When I try and open the application, it crashes immediately on me. I'm on 10.3.9 (Panther) - Is there something I'm doing wrong, or is this a bug? I tried the slightly older versions that are out on the web but none of them are as old as the version I was using and they all seem to crash on me...?
I see that they were able to save my preferences from before the crash (and my archive) but the application itself didn't get saved. I tried getting rid of the preference and history files (in case this was the problem) but it didn't matter (assuming I got the right ones.)

 | 12:29 pm - Xjournal won't save privacy settings I've set up my journal to be public, after being friends only for a long time. Every time I start up Xjournal though, it sets the privacy to "all friends". I can switch it back to "public" in the preferences panel, but after a while the settings are "all friends" again. I've even checked the same preferences on the Livejournal site cause I wasn't sure if that was the problem, but no luck there either.
Anyone familiar with this problem?

 | 06:25 pm - Importing Xjournal file to Wordpress Hello, I'm new to Xjournal, so maybe I missed this somewhere. It saves the file to 'History.plist,' which is expected. When I go into Wordpress and select 'Import File' to archive and transfer over my livejournal, I select the 'History.plist' file, and then...nothing happens. Is this the right file to use for Wordpress? If not, how do I convert the plist file to an XML one? Thanks!

 | 10:44 am - Saving History with Comments Currently, LJ allows you to export months of entries, but without comments. Nothing I've read about xJournal indicates that you can export entries with comments. Can you do this?

 | 12:55 am Am so glad xjournal exists. Just downloaded it and am trying to save history. Began by updating history and can't tell if that's right, or if it's happening/how long it should take. Love the way this community works, would really appreciate the support.

 | 09:31 pm - Problem downloading history Hi everyone! I'm experiencing a problem downloading my history because of a "problem with my text encoding."
As I get about 200 entries in, a prompt informs me "There is a problem with your text encoding. Please visit your LiveJournal information page and set the "Auto Convert Older Entries From" setting appropriately."
Then, it offers a link to "editinfo.bml" on livejournal, but then lj re-directs me to the profile editing area, where no such setting exists. I have searched for it on other pages, but to no avail.
Any advice?
Many thanks!
